Description
We're currently seeking applications from arts practitioners working within any of the arts disciplines (visual, literary, performing, media) looking for a creative space in a supportive arts environment. Artists who live in Melbourne’s west are encouraged to apply. The studio is located in the Hunt Club Community Arts Centre, one of the few significant nineteenth century buildings in the City of Brimbank. The studio features period detail and great atmosphere. Five low-cost artist studios are located at the HCCAC. These are available to emerging or established artists for a period of one to two years at a cost of $34.30 per studio per week including electricity and Wi-Fi. All spaces have natural and fluorescent light and access to running water. Studios are secure, have timber or linoleum floors and storage. The studio currently available has the approximate dimensions: 3 meters x 3 meters. Joint applications from individuals or a group of artists willing to share the space are welcome.
