It had to be altered so it was an appropriate fit. It is a size medium- which equates to a size 10. So this style is really a smaller fit. But because it has been altered nicely, it is a tailored fit for a size 10 (but would fit a size 8). The shoulder straps are longer than you think, but are designed to be that way (you get used to it). Also if you wear a bra with the dress you can see it because the back is a touch lower than normal. Recommended wearing bra cups instead so that you can’t see them at the back.
