Failure to cancel a reservation within twenty-one (21) working days will result in 50% of the minimum spend being held as a cancellation. Events cancelled within five (5) business days of the event will forfeit 100% of there minimum spend. Crowne Plaza Burwood reserves the right to cancel any booking or reservation, if the contract has not been received within twenty-one (21) working days to the function date Tentative Bookings: All tentative functions will be held for a period of five (5) working days, after which time the booking will be released. Booking Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed once we receive a signed Booking Form & a deposit of 50% of the minimum spend. Management reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed bookings. The remaining balance is due fourteen (14) days prior to the event. Bookings made within twenty-one 21 days of the event date will require 100% of the minimum spend to be paid before event is confirmed. Minimum Food and Beverage Spend: Securing the entire venue or an area within the venue is based on a minimum food and beverage spend. This is not a venue hire fee but the guaranteed minimum spend on food and drinks ordered from the Skye Lounge Platter & Beverage Menus. Any other requirements such as DJ’s (available to exclusive venue hire ONLY. See section 4.), decorations etc. will be at an added cost not included in the minimum food and beverage spend. Assignment and use of function space: The function space is designated for the event according to the expected number of attendees. Crowne Plaza Burwood have the right to reallocate an alternate space as it deems suitable for Event Coordinator and Event’s requirements should there be any change in the expected number of attendees. The area to which your event is allocated is subject to the venue availability. Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day Show cancellation details Cancellations 30 days in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations 30 days to 7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations for events starting within 7 days are non-refundable.
