A stylish recording studio in Coburg North! Bighouse Sound Studio is a professional recording space in Coburg North, with three different rooms providing versatility and easy multi-tracking. The large live room measures in at 8.1m x 3.4m, and features a beautiful Yamaha upright piano. The insulated rooms have been treated with sound baffles for optimum acoustics, while double glazed windows mean that eye contact can be made between musicians and the engineer at all times. The recording setup can be as simple as straight into the tape machine, or as complex as a digital/analog hybrid with outboard gear and digital plugins. Bighouse Sound Studio was hand built by Thom Mitchell, James Chandler and the crew at Bighouse Arts as a space for musicians to create and record great music, with a fun vibe, solid sound and easy workflow. It’s about musicians recording musicians and everybody having a good time!
