Located in Waterloo, aMBUSH Studio occupies a 168-square-meter former industrial warehouse, outfitted with ceiling fans and air conditioning/heating to ensure a comfortable environment. For almost two decades, the social enterprise aMBUSH Gallery has run this space as an art exhibition venue. When not hosting exhibitions, the adaptable venue, called aMBUSH Studio, is available for a variety of events, such as product launches, team off-sites, workshops, film and photography sessions, and more. Please note, rates vary per group size with min rate advertised for groups up to 30 Evenings, Weekends and Catered or groups with alcohol may be charged higher rates due to being high impact bookings. Corporate training groups or small business workshops are low impact groups with lower rates. The space is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm, accommodating up to 150 guests for cocktail-style gatherings, 80 guests for theatre-style seating, and 30 for conferences. To ensure a seamless experience, please review the terms and conditions outlined below *Damage You are financially responsible for any damage sustained to the venue, fixtures, or fittings during setup, bump-out, or the event itself. Any damage must be repaired immediately at your expense. (e.g., The gallery roller door may buckle if the front glass door is not locked correctly.) *Attendee Behaviour You are responsible for ensuring that all attendees behave in an orderly manner. Attendees must not engage in activities that are dangerous, disruptive, or offensive or that interfere with other tenants or nearby businesses. *Security Special security arrangements can be made upon request but may incur an additional charge. *Any additional charges incurred during the event must be settled at its conclusion. *The venue does not hold a liquor license; therefore, alcohol cannot be sold on-site. Complimentary alcoholic beverages may be served to guests. If alcohol is to be sold, a licensed catering company must be engaged, adhering to Liquor Licensing & Responsible Service of Alcohol Laws. Alcohol service must be denied to minors (under 18 years) and intoxicated individuals. The venue reserves the right to remove disruptive guests or cease alcohol service entirely. *Exhibitions Exhibitors are responsible for transporting, setting up, and dismantling their own equipment in compliance with health *Event Completion At the conclusion of your event: The venue must be returned to its original condition, all personal and attendee belongings must be removed. Any remaining items become the property of Ambush and may be disposed by us Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period Show cancellation details Cancellations within 24 hours after booking confirmation will receive a full refund. This excludes events starting within 48 hours. Cancellations 30 days in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations 30 days to 7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations for events starting within 7 days are non-refundable.
