Version 1 — August 2026
This agreement applies to every booking made on Xhypee, operated by Xhypee Pty Ltd (ABN 66 701 748 049), trading as Xhypee. By ticking “I agree to the rental agreement” at checkout, you accept these terms for that booking.
Renting an item gives you the right to use it for the booked period. Ownership never transfers. You must return the item at the agreed time, in the condition you received it, allowing for fair wear and tear.
From pickup until return, the item is your responsibility — including if it is lost, stolen from you, or damaged by someone else while in your care. “It was stolen from my car” does not transfer responsibility back to the owner.
Either party may photograph the item at pickup and at return through the booking page. These photos are the primary evidence if there is ever a disagreement about condition — we strongly recommend both sides take them.
By accepting this agreement you authorize Xhypee to charge the payment method used at checkout for:
Charges are only made after a claim is raised by the owner with a description and evidence, and you have had the chance to accept or dispute it.
If you believe a claim is wrong, dispute it from the booking page. No charge is made while a dispute is open. Xhypee reviews the condition photos, claim evidence and both parties' notes, and decides the outcome. Fair wear and tear is never chargeable.
High-value bookings require one-time government-ID verification, handled by Stripe. Xhypee does not store your ID documents.
Keeping an item past the booking without arrangement, or providing false identity or payment details, may result in the matter being referred to debt collection and reported to police, in addition to the authorized charges above.
Owners must accurately describe items, set honest replacement values, and only claim genuine damage with evidence. Fraudulent claims lead to removal from the platform.
These protections — condition evidence, the claims process, dispute review and payment handling — only apply to bookings made and paid through Xhypee. Off-platform arrangements are entirely at your own risk.
